i am currently listning to Absolute Radio.. was quite happily until a person named Ryan txt'd the show saying how he loves Babylon Zoo and all their music.
gees those fucking radio hoasts are idiots. they actually all laughed at this statment!! one question.. WHY!?
oh right yeah.. because the presenter only liked the first part of the song.. (high pitched part) and said the Spaceman song was boring..

ok well done Ryan for showing people still care about Babylon Zoo.

Rant over... ¬¬

hahahahahahahah! that was me! they also tried to phone me to get me on the show but I refused to answer it! I thought that on a day where guilty pleasures are the topic, Babylon Zoo needed a mention!

I dont mind Geoff Lloyd laughing at it though. His home time show is by far the best show on radio.

iv tryed to ge tthem to play BZOO on that station before but NO.. ! lol
im half tempted to txt in to get them to say sorry for laughing by playing spaceman. But i think it would be a wasted txt tbh.

lol nice on ehtough.

meh.. iv had a bit of a dislike for Absolute Radio since it started. all they ever played was the killers and kings of leon.. EVERY time i switched it on.. literally all i would ever hear.. it reely anoied me.

i like those bands.. but now that i am not forced to listen to them i can respect the songs lol.

we could both txt in to show our point if you like?

To be honest, I only really listen to Geoff Lloyd from about 5-5.45 on my drive home. I download his podcasts when I'm out walking or running but you don't get the music, just the talking, which for me is the best bit. But I don't think the music they play is that bad to be honest. A good mix of modern rock and 80s which I like. I don't think I've heard a radio station before playing Martha and the Muffins - Echo Beach!

Theres probably no chance of getting Spaceman played as the songs they play are all playlisted. Even Nelson tried to get songs on it and they wouldn't let him so we've no chance!

I Don't listen to the radio at any other time and the only reason I got Virgin/Absolute was because my car only played medium wave stations (I'm in Glasgow so its MW 1215 up here). But its better than Radio 1 which my fiancee listens to! Terrible station.

I defy anyone to tell me they haven't at least once ended up in complete stitches at the hometime show. I did it tonight at the guy who phoned in to say he was a huge fan of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman biggrin.gif hahahahaha!

Chin up matey, if we all had the same taste in music there'd be nothing to talk about!

The hometime show podcast is now available with my Babylon Zoo bit at 16 minutes 26 seconds. Listening back it is actually very funny. "Well done to Ryan for admitting to it, a lesser man would have sent an anonymous text" !!
