Goth has been dead for years.

New Fields Of The Nephilim album out soon... now thats goth

I'm not a big metal fan..... I'm into progressive rock at home..... terrorcore, screamcore, industrial new wave electric in night clubs biggrin.gif

A different tool for a different job.

real Goth isn't metal....

Bands in the 90's (eg. Marylin Monsoon, Cradle Of Filth) took some of the original Goth imagery and have made it metal.

*yawn*

Just dress in black clothes and make up and listen to any type of rock music and watch any kind of horror film and you pretty much register as a goth. I hate this whole 'well this isn't TECHNICALLY goth'. no one cares.

August Bank holiday weekend is the date for this year's Infest festival of electro-industrial music. Music starts at 8pm on the Friday and around 2pm on the Saturday and Sunday. DJs play between the bands and after until about 2am, and there are clothing stalls and catering within the venue. There are student-priced bars in there and also a seperate bar for chilling out in.

The venue is Bradford University students union as always and the line-up so far is:

FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY
ROTERSAND
STROMKERN
REAPER
FROZEN PLASMA
UNTER NULL
O.V.N.I.
AUTOCLAV 1.1

There are guaranteed to be more big names announced in the near future including I would imagine another name or two worthy of headlining.

Tickets are £38 inc booking for the weekend, accomodation is around £60 for 3 nights in student halls on campus or a bit more for the Travel Inn about 15 mins walk away from the University. Official announcement for ticket availability will be around March.

I would thoroughly recommend coming along as it is a fantastic weekend and in a very civilised setting for a festival cool.gif

SO WHO'S COMING THEN?? biggrin.gif
