So Finally...
The end of 2006 is slowly coming up, and there's still no news at all about an hypothetic new BZ/JasMann/Whoever album ...

What about "Cold Clockwork Doll"....
A new album is generally announced several months before its actual release..

So I guess this "Cold Clockwork Doll" announce was another false rumour... sad.gif

In case that happened, at least we'd have his valuable albums and songs he did before... smile.gif Though the idea of a new Babylon Zoo album would be so surprising..so magical...

It kinda makes you question about the source we got all this info from. I bet whoever pulled off the hoax must have had a blast with the words describing life lol.

It seems like since hopes of cold clockwork doll went under so did the spirit of everything this forum stood for went under aswell. We never knew about cold clockwork doll before and were still happy and kept the forum alive, we have marchi static, sand kings material, rare songs, i never thought id see the spaceman video again let alone in dvd quality. I mean the memories i have of the live and kicking material from when i was younger and seeing it again was great. We have 4 hours of footage and rare interviews thanks to accadia and you tube to share them on, since the album was announced people have thought bigger so some of the attension to the old material and the new footage and songs that have appeared since then no one thinks of as much.

Yeah, that and...
I don't mean to critisize but, this forum just isn't what it used to be, it's a fact...
I think it's because the forum lost all the old posts and topics (was it a year ago?)... And because it turned white so much!

I know it took a lot of work to make it look like this, and it's good... but it's just not what it used to be...

... was this off topic?

I haven't been following much, but did anyone e-mail to that address they had ages ago in the Hub Records site? contact@hubrecords.com?

Off-topic: I just saw a dream where Jas gave us a concert. <3
I have to believe in him.

I'm fed up of waiting. tongue.gif

I've emailed NME (don't ask, seemed like a good idea) asking for journalistic help
Heini has emailed Jas's producer friend
And we've both emailed Suki
And i'm phoning the Hubrecords number at hourly intervals until someone answers

biggrin.gif i've had enough!!! We're resorting to desperate measures

It wasn't a hoax, Jas was singing on the Mariachi Static songs.
And the Hub Records company was real but what actually happend afterwards that's a mystery.

Well of course you can understand that.
I'm also very disappointed i have to say.
If i could just find out what the problem was...and if i can, i would try to help.
But then Jas actually would need to really really want that, i mean start writing again.
I don't know if he's got the will to do music again. That's more the question.

I've send a letter a month ago or so to Hub Records uk, but never got something back.
I think it doesn't exist anymore.

It's true.
To be honest i loved the first Forum we had.
I know it was a bit chaotic and dark but i liked that.

I'm trying to find him.. but it's really really hard, it's almost like he'd never exist.
Sadly i haven't got enough money for a detective. biggrin.gif

My apologies for such a late reply, I only just joined these forums.

I'm a Bzoo fan and while I do love the material, I have to be realistic and say Jas has just plain given up. When was the title released? 2004? 2005? Someone here got an email in 2005 saying he was in the studio working on it...

Now, being a musician myself I know it can take a lot of time in the studio, but seriously, even Metallica didnt take this long to record the Black album... and that was a hell of a long time in the studio.

I know it sucks to say it, but as I said, it sounds like Jas has just given up.

Also, just think of the fact that, apart from us, BZ are widely regarded as a one hit wonder. Waiting that long to release an album is just stupid. I think Jas is well aware of this and knows it wont sell too well, especially in todays musical climate (unless he went nu-metal)

Sorry sad.gif
