I just felt an earthquake!!
It only lasted about 5 seconds but was a first time experience for me.

and i read about it in the news. it measured 5 on the scale...!! ohmy.gif

Its epicentre was near Market Rasen, only 15 miles from where I live!

I slept through the whole thing sleep1.gif , but housemates here in the south said they heard what they thought at the time was thunder.

laasted about 20 seconds for me and the whole house wobbled and my bed did, woke my up. my dad thought it was a plane crash

Yeah I felt it, fortunately my record had stopped spinning as I reckon it would have got well scratched up otherwise. One of my housemates stamps a lot so we thought it was him to start with but then we all congregated on the landing to find out what happened. Little bit scary cos there are builders working on next door at the moment so maybe the house wasn't as stable as normal and I was worried about things falling off and that.

Hahhaha me too.
When my husband told me in the morning first i thought he was joking.
I felt earthquakes before in Austria, so that was nothing new to me.
Just think it's funny how English people panic biggrin.gif

blink.gif I was wide awake when it happened and were i live loads of ppl said it was really noisy but i didnt hear it laugh.gif cos i was listening to the Mariachi Static tracks thru headphones nd editing fotos on my laptop and i thort i was hallucinating at first cos i was up late until i took my hedphones off and heard everything in the hous rattling ive never experienced anything lyk it before lol

Most of the ppl i kno thort it was ther parents going at it at first too lmfao which is a disturbing thought ermm.gif
