I was actually going to make a thread regarding the worst sequels ever made. I was listening to this on the radio, and you know what..... it's quite difficult. Most of the movies the viewers said were bad, but not truley damn right awful. See if anyone here can come up with a few......

I know the best sequel ever made... That's Young Guns 2 biggrin.gif

One of the worst sequels I've seen is Ginger Snaps: Unleashed. I haven't seen the first one so I didn't know what was going on but I do know it was a dumb movie.

Ah... you see... I was talking about the worst sequels ever made in relation to the first film. If the first film was bad then a bad sequel cannot be considered worse.

(I've put this to LJ also)

Movies I've watched recently
- The Descent - Shitty.
- Doom - A bit from the beginning and looked... shit.
- Crash - Okay. Was nice to see it.
- The Last House on the Left - Shit! They said omg it's so horrible, because it's so violent! So they banned it for 30 years. Erm. It wasn't scary.
- The House of the Dead - SHIT!! I thought it was a comedy!
- The Big White - Okay, but there's better movies than that too. tongue.gif
- Space Office - OK.

And what meaning did it actually ruin??? The whole purpose of T2 was to stop Judgement Day.... in T3 it was explained Judgement Day can not be stopped, only postponed.... and I thought the way John Connor survived and became leader of the resistance at the end was very clever....

Yes it should of been made because we'll soon have T4 to look forward to biggrin.gif

T2 finished the story off nicely, T3 brought a lot of stupid ideas that didnt fit the story. Also the acting/script etc. were abismal... sorry but ive been an obsessive over the terminator films since i was a kid... and I will not be watching T3 again due to it not fitting in with the other films and it being crap!... at least T2 managed to compliment the original!!!

oh and for the record the T-X aka "Swiss Army Knife" would get pwnd by the T-1000!! tongue.gif

Being as I've won the argument over T3 lets move on and do a top 5. Seems sensible.....

5) American Splendor
4) Save The Green Planet
3) Happiness
2) Man On The Moon
1) The Wicker Man

Collect them all biggrin.gif

I agree the Wickerman is VERY VERY VERY VERY good film as are the following

Devils Rejects
House of a thousand corpses
Evil Dead (all of them)
Football Factory
Hellraiser (all of them)
Dawn of the Dead (the original, not the shitty remake)

Watch them....... all of them..........now........... at the same time......... you watching?

*Give mikkaelson a medal*

As for a top 5 I cannot think of just 5 films to recommend. So the last 5 films I watched were.

1) Innerspace
2) Apollo 13
3) Bad Taste
4) Star Trek: Generations
5) Shark Tale (I was forced to watch this pile of tripe)

films in my to watch list include...

"Spirited Away"

short list eh? heh...
