Can anyone tell me more about this project? I missed it completely. Was the music any good? Did he release any statements along with the 3 songs? Why did he remove them? Is there anywhere I can download them?

Yes, you can download the songs here. Click on 'downloads'. I still think Responding to Echoes should be released.

Cheers! Is that Jas's voice in Responding to Echos? I wonder who the woman is, might it be Nell McAndrew?

I was just looking at the concert photos on that site. Im so gutted to have been too young to go to any of his gigs. Did you ever go? Have you ever met him in real life? I'd love to meet him some day just to ask him questions about his vanishing act and how he managed to hide away.

Christine has met him. (lord shiva)

I don't know anyone else on here that has met him. I would love to biggrin.gif When i was 13/14 i made plans to go and find him in Warwickshire (where his fan mail address was). I don't think i'd have got very far... didn't realise he didn't actually live there biggrin.gif

I always imagined I'd bump into him at one of my fav cyber goth night spots in London.... but he is 8 years older than me so maybe he prefers a hot brew in front of a fire instead tongue.gif

I had tickets to go and see him somewhere in London but the gig was pulled about 3 days before it was due to go on, I was gutted.

Ouh, my little secret page still is online... Forgot about it, but cool that it's still helpful smile.gif
Hopefully it's OK or Jas, that I still have the songs online for download since he has removed them from his page...

Wow! Just downloaded the available songs from Zagreus' website (thank you!) and I'm lost for words!! Truly amazing tracks, especially Responding To Echoes. I feel so ashamed that I missed out on the whole project! =[

There was supposed to be Mariachi Static album as well as a Babylon Zoo one. But obviously, nothing has come of it yet mellow.gif

I believe Jas mentioned he was working with another guy in Mariachi Static. It sounds like Jas only did the backup vocals in "Responding to Echoes."

I think the newspapers and all that would have got a notification if he had died. He was a record holder at one point for record sales remember!
