The list was compiled by Q magazine and TBWTXRE is at number 42 (no.1 is Duran Duran 'Thank You').
It says: "This album of lumpen MOR rock sank without trace." mad.gif
I seem to remember Q giving the album a 4 star review...

All music mags are full of s**t anyway.

I don't read them anymore due to the amount of pure s**t they print in them.

And yeah they did give it a 4 star review! hipocrites!

couldn't agree more. the once great 'kerrang' magazine is no longer interesting now.. but at the end of the day, all these magazine get paid to lie, or overhype some 'flavour of the month' band wink.gif

Aaah Kerrang... That's just taken the place of now defunct Smash Hits.

I used to get Metal Hammer because I thought It was a mag that was for METAL music... now it's just as bad as Kerrang.

How can they slag off fisherspooner when their whole motto is 'crash and burn'? The point of fisherspooner is surface through depth surly? Plus, grinding synth, silly song ideas (mego-colon anyone?) and kick ass videos. I'm not even going to pass comment of the BZ album review. Well, just to say that Q became shite a long time ago, basically as soon as brit-pop began and curt died... assholes!

What a shame. It's such a brilliant and unique debut album. I listen to loads of different bands/artists and this one's one of my favourite albums cool.gif
They like controversy i guess, Rock & Folk (in France) did a poll on the "40 worst bands ever" and there were many reactions to it as they put U2, Queen...in that list, you know, classic bands that have MANY fans laugh.gif
