yeah same here Rob, but Valor or Rozz? That's the crucial question.

Well considering i've only got round to listening to "Born Again anti Christian" and various older tracks I couldn't say yet. We've got every album here but it means finding the buggers!!!

I really liked the BZ line up better during The Boy with the X-Ray eyes than the one for King Kong Groover, that was all different, the drummer girl looks weird in the line up.
Carrie looked perfect.

Hey again, just thought I'd let you know I bought 'The Boy With The X-Ray Eyes' on Ebay (£2.29 inc p&p!) and I love it! It's actually better than I expected...my favourite track at the moment is Paris Green...ooh and nobody told me there was an extended version of Spaceman on the album! smile.gif

I still never did understand the whole band thing either. I remember the blonde girl Carrie from when I was young, and the guy with the face mask, but they were only backing musicians, weren't they? Were the black guys who he sacked actually responsible for any of the music or were they also just backing musicians? A guy i know who seen them in 95 said there was about 8 of them on stage.

Wow, I've got a tour ad advertising gigs for July '95 but I didn't think they went ahead. The tickets were like £3/£4 or free!

Look what I found.
By 14 Sept 1996, they must mean 1995. There's quite a few mistakes in that one paragraph!

Wow my thread is still here... although somewhat hijacked. I thought it would have disappeared but I guess there's a very low newbie turnover...and the smiley face just keeps attracting people to post!

I can't find King Kong Groover on Ebay by the way, is it really rare or something?

QUOTE(Mikkaelson @ Jun 2 2006, 06:12 PM)

There was a band.... the band got sacked.... EMI hired stage musicians for his Top Of The Pop performances.... then Jas recruited new members (Carrie is the only one I remember) for his European tour. I personally consider Carrie and Co part of Babylon Zoo..... others believe that Babylon Zoo was a Jas Mann solo project...... I suppose King Kong Groover definately was.

There's no pop about Babylon Zoo....... TBWTXE's is a very dark progressive rock album.

Jas always said that BZ is only him, so how could BZ have ever been a band then?
