The new domain owner of HubRecords.com dropped me an email after he noticed the link between BZoo Online, and Hub Records (a very indirect link at that, but maybe he thought I was Jas Mann?).

His offer seemed very nice and genuine, so I did express my interest. I kinda fancy having the Hub Records domain name and holding it until either Jas continues the project or just so people have a url to find out what happened to Hub Records.

So, you want the news, huh, huh? Well the new domain owner offered it to me for $1000. Yup, that is no typo. One thousand dollars. The internet is stupid biggrin.gif

Hmm.. I received an email the other day. I was offered recording time at a recoding studio in Wolverhampton after the owner heard the Sandkings on my myspace profile....

So i'm aparently one of the Sandkings and your aparently Jas Mann... Wanna reform Jas?? lol

I knew he was at it. Hes a prick. He came across as a prick when I e-mailled him. He knew fine well what he registered and is going to be re-directing it to his own "record label" if he cant sell it.

I hope he dies.

laugh.gif I wouldn't go that far though, I'm used to the internet being that way. Someone buys a domain, it's due to expire, someone else puts a domain snap on it so the moment it becomes available it's bought up (automated process, the fastest one wins, you can't queue up a request to buy it you just have to use automated services that check its availability every 5 minutes). Domain is then sold to advertising. And pretty much all the great possible .com domains lead to advertising these days. Such a great system biggrin.gif

Maybe they should ration .com domains like they do IP addresses, ie you have to give a valid reason for wanting a domain other than "I can get a few extra hits to my site". I wanted to get Hub Records.com myself so I could at least direct people to semi related information about it, and post any news. And of course, have it available for use if Jas decided to do the project again.

Alas, the internet is a weird beast.

Aye, and the man we are trying to find is disappearing from it.

omg i just thought of something so cool. What if Jas is busymaking his own format of technology for the next album and thats why we cant find him on this out-dated piece of shit.

anyway, if Jas decides he still wants to run hubrecords, he can register hubrecords.net for less than £1k! Just update the link on the news page, Chris. Dont let this dickhead get publicity for nothing.

Yeah www.hubrecords.com is for sale right now.
It's up to 5000 US Dollars at the moment!

I had a look on the Domain Website i used to have my old BZ site with.
So technically i could bid on it, but god i haven't got that amount of money, and surely it's not worth 5000 Dollars. That's crazy.

www.hubrecords.net has already been taken and so is www.hubrecords.org

But there is always a possibility to use - between hub and records, those are all free for about 1-50 Euros.
