i think babylon zoo is greatly underestimated and recived a great deal of poor press. I think all the fans I mean true fans should make their own documentary on Babylon Zoo stating why they like it. Maybe people are scared to be different consider it "old" there is plenty of arguments for and against Babylon Zoo, I think jas is like marmite you either love him or hate him. I personally when I heard BZ for the first time was shocked that it was out of print, the fact the song reached number1 was usually a good reason to keep a album circulating I think hes the most succesfull artist who is known to most of the public for one song to have his album out of print

I've seen that before and I hate it.... far too much negative energy for my liking. I avoid all those Top 100 one hit wonder programs....... I know what I like and I don't need Mr Joe Nobody telling me otherwise.

It's really sad that people think the danced-up squeaky bit is the highlight of the track...ok so it's catchy and it might have been original in 96 (that kind of thing makes me think of charver-favourites Scooter now)...but to say it's the only good bit? Do these people have functioning ears?

And also the line "Jas Mann, bless him, what a tosser" pisses me off...it's kind of like a patronising assumption that everyone has this opinion? I had never heard an interview with Jas before this so I don't know just how much he did come across as being egotistical...but even if he did say he wanted to be king of the world or whatever, why is that cause for condemnation? He was constantly in the limelight at that time as a 'pop star', he had suddenly shot to fame, I think it's kinda expected to make comments like that. I'm pretty sure that Robbie Williams says more arrogant things on a daily basis and means them too, yet it doesn't seem to have harmed his popularity...people worship whatever comes out of his mouth (I should know I used to love him but now I can't stand him!)...

I love Jas' music (although i haven't heard a lot of it - I'm going off the first BZ album) because it's really different, I like his 'eccentricity', and I pity the people who only buy a song because a snippet of it's on an advert and have no originality...sorry that probably sounded really arrogant, the clip just annoyed me!

Yeah there are some quite humourous egotistical things in his early interviews. The only one which really made me cringe was "Genius... Yeah I like that word, I think I could get used to that".
After that though I think Jas does pretty well. Fair play to him though. People who edit TV shows can edit things in a way which makes people seem more weird, stupid, brilliant or whatever you want. Just look at X Factor, there's no middle ground, they either praise someone or completely take the mick through the use of editing, background music and so forth. A lot of the people they ridicule are actually quite good, like that Paul Holt bloke in the first series. He was actually the first bloke from the show to have a Top 40 hit cos he didn't even get to the second round. I was really pleased for him even though it was a novelty record.
