I saw this on the MSN homepage, and it lists the six best and worst hits in advertising. They put him on the best AND the worst. See what you think of this.

Spaceman - Babylon Zoo (Levi Jeans)

Forget the fact that the song in its entirety is a steaming pile of poo, using the speeded up intro was a stroke of genius. Mind you, 10 years on, many people who bought the single without hearing the whole thing still feel ripped off.

Hang on one cotton pickin' minute, we hear you cry. How can you have this in the best and worst categories? Allow us to explain. While the ten-second, speeded-up snippet of the song used in the ad was brilliant, it resulted in making a star, albeit briefly, out of Jas Mann (pictured left), a bloke so deluded about his own ability that he made David Icke seem like a realist. Of his one-hit wonder, Jas said at the time, "I absolutely categorically and definitely believe that it's not going to be one hit. We will take over the music world."

Personally I prefer the "steaming pile of poo" that is the original version of Spaceman. Does his mean I have a poor taste in music?
