Folk music is quite fashionable at the moment. Personally, I can't stand it.
But what do you think?

Folk music is fashionable? Didn't know that!

Personally I listen to some folk metal stuff, does that count?

I have literally loads of early 50, 60's and 70's acoustic folk from many artisits such as Joanna Newsom, Robbie Bashoria, Tom Waits (If he counts), Devendra Banhart, Harold Budd, The Lditarod and many more right through to more contempoary folk like Nick Drake and The Grateful Dead (If they count).

I never liked folk music...
There may be a few songs that I heard that were, like, cool, but generally, I don't listen to it wink.gif

I will add that there's a time and a place for it. Maybe when your Mrs is round see how quickly they can't resist the folky charms of James Taylor wink.gif

It depends what country it's from, American folk is shite, however some English folk can be alright.
