QUOTE(Mikkaelson @ Jan 17 2006, 10:13 PM)

I listened to The Chris Moyles show for the first time on radio 1 on Monday (the driver of the car point blank refused to put my Manson tape on LOL)...... and I found him slightly weird.....

He just seemed to be having an everyday normal conversation with his other DJ cronies.... He didn't direct what he was saying to the listening audience at all. He just blabbed on about how he was going to go to the Gym and start walking more often.... I thought.... "who cares???"

I'd love to make a living by broadcasting my every day dull, monotonous conversation with my next door neighbour to a nation wide audience biggrin.gif tongue.gif cool.gif

Chris moyles does talk a lot of boring stuff, but when you've listened to him since he started on Radio 1 during the day (over 7 years ago) you just absorb what he says anyway because you're so used to his voice and the rest of the chris moyles team.
He talks generally to everyone, and i like that. Its DJs that always directly talk to the audience that piss me off, because they're always promoting stuff and trying to get you to ring in for their stupid competitions. Chris Moyles does a bit of that, but he makes a joke out of it, unlike bullshit local radio

As Steph so put in a previous post....

GRRR do not enrage me mad.gif

See what I mean by New Adventures being under-rated?!

Murmur is a class album though... I much prefer their IRS records to the Warners stuff.

Lifes Rich Pageant will always be my favourite...

Another outstanding recommendation from the personal collection of messier Mikkaelson comes from 1970's progressive rock outfit Camel....

Currently I'm listening to MoonMadness which just makes me horny every time I hear it.

However, Camel had a string of three albums all of which recieve high critical acclaim....

1) Mirage
2) Music Inspired by The Snow Goose
3) And of course... Moon Madness....

Each one is an ESSENTIAL ingredient to any respectable collection.

So stop reading this message... and BUY, BUY, BUY!!
