I've just got a message from a Never Mind The Buzzcocks BBC researcher on myspace:

"Hi Jas,

I'm booking ID Parade Guests for the New series of 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' and would like to invite you the show. If you are interested please get back to me as soon as possible, as I only have a limited amount of spaces left on the series.

We'll be able to pay you 500 cash, and cover any transport expenses, we'll also be able plug anything you are doing at the moment.

Best wishes,
John. "

Obviously the person at the receiving end was not Jas but I sent him a reply to explain Jas' disappearance.
But there is a very small chance they could track Jas down and Jas could probably use some extra cash if the rumoured bankruptcy is true.

If there attempt fails though they might still pluck someone else from the BZ '96 era like Carrie Melbourne.

Jas Mann back on the TV? Isn't it just a dream?

Jas wouldn't stoop so low as to appear on Never Mind the Buzzcocks!

It would be funny because from the few interviews I seen of Jas he did actually seem like quite a funny guy. Would probably be a great place for him to edge his way back into entertainment again. I wish he'd go for it.

But he's being offered money to appear in the Identity Parade they do, not be on the panel. He wouldn't get to talk or anything.

An appearance would basically be getting paid to get a plug

Oooh eeer... oh it was the guess the intro round. One team had to do Spaceman. At the end of the round Lammar did his usual joke about that particular song/band. I cant remember what he said now like.

Mark Lamaar knows as much about music as I know about having gay sex. And I've never had gay sex. So fuck you Mark Lamaar you ugly prick.

This bloke has sent me a reply asking if I knew if any of the other band members would come on "The band members would have ideally needed to feature heavily in the spaceman video."
Now I don't think anyone on here knows contact details of the original band (the ones who got sacked) or even their names so I could maybe suggest he shows TOTP footage as they should have rights to show it I think. Does anyone know contact details for Carrie Melbourne?

Jeez... thats was his bloody job!!! He would have sold even less records if he'd not been on those shows.

He's doing his own thing now (Whatever that may be!), and therefore he's not gonna be on Buzzcocks any time soon.

I was talking about this to a friend and he mentioned the guy from the Manics who went missing. Did they ever find him?

It says on Wikipedia his whereabouts is still unknown.

I think it would be tragic for Jas to appear on the ID Parade, or anyone else from the band to be fair...that's the opportunity for the most piss-take comments to be made...it would show him as a washed-up has-been which I'm sure he isn't...

On the panel would be good though...but it'll never happen...
