Hi everyone

I just discovered this site today and it seems soo strange to me...
When Spaceman came out I was only 13 but I was a huge fan...
At that time I collected all interviews and things I could found about the group, but internet wasn't there and it was always so difficult to find something.
I admit, I quit searching and discovered other music groups, but babylon Zoo was still present in a part of my mind, I was always hoping a new album would come out....
And now today, I'm 24 and I find this... it's amazing... I thought I was the only one remembering Jas Mann, but I see a lot of fans are still present...
are you all old fans like me? i wonder how old were you at that time ?
that's so nice
I just looked to spaceman video, (today you find everything you want with internet of course) and ... wow this is much more psychedelic than what I remembered, it's not that bad at all !!

hey, welcome to the board. Most of us are late teens to twenties so we were all schoolkids when Spaceman came out.
We've been here waiting for years on what's happening to Jas for years now...

I didnt have a pc at the time im exactly like u, i got into the song spaceman on a casette i had when i was 12 or so, im now 20, you can do the maths!! I basically got the tape off my mum, she is a teacher and the local radio station came in 2 her skool she played it and i heard her playing it and copied the tape. Years later i heard the song spaceman used on the bill on ITV playing in a club. this was about 1999 or 2000 ish and i instantly used the internet downloaded the music, became a fanatic and now i own all the albums. I have lots of babylon zoo footage like the live and kicking shows e.t.c on dvd acaida did for me, if your interested in a copy PM me i will only charge you for the disk and postage (i would do it for free but ive done so many i cant afford it). I also have loads of files on my pc i can send you for free anyway nice to see a new face! btw my msn is mrgstukupatree@msn.com

I've followed what there's been to follow over the past 10 years. I'm 25, nearly 26 and he's still an influence of mine although a new album doesn't look likely. With the lack of new material and news, my enthusiasm is wavering I must admit.

lol I too was only a teenager in 1996 'Spaceman' was released just a few months before my 15th birthday, i bought it twice ( cassette and cd) as i desparately wanted the cd but nowhere had it in stock, i got 'Animal Army' for my 15th b'day and 'The Boy With The Xray Eyes' too.

Its cool to see that there are so many ppl who are stil fans after all this time.
I was torchered and ridiculed for lyking 'Babylon Zoo' back then and still get stick if ppl find out now so its great to find fans of 'Jas Mann' and 'Babylon Zoo' for the first time ever lol

This site is brilliant, i love it to bits and im starting to think of it as a second home lol
much love tongue.gif
