What do you think about this very strange song ?
I like it a lot, but it's like a mystery for me : it was released on the part 1 of the single "The Boy With The X-Ray Eyes" with no info about it, on the booklet or on the internet... We don't even know who composed the music and wrote the lyrics, it's not written in the booklet... But I think we can say it was written by Jas ?

And what about the very strange lyrics ? I remember, in 1996, with my English teacher (I'm French), we tried to write down the lyrics but his prononciation is quit hard to understand... I finally published some tentative lyrics of the song, that we can find now in any Song Lyrics websites lol, but they're definitely not the official ones...

So : Is there some people here with English for native language ? Could you try to write down the lyrics of this song please ?
Or maybe someone can ask to Jas ? tongue.gif

That song is so strange.
I would have thought it was by Merv De Peyer (who co-produced it) seeing as it's called 'Mervs Tune', but I could easily be wrong! And shouldn't the title be with an apostrophe (Merv's) in that case?

I've never actually heard this track, unfortunately. I'm still trying to get hold of the rarer tracks for the BZoo Online downloads and things. I'm also considering getting the albums imported from Japan, if I can find them somewhere, to get the few bonus tracks in CD quality biggrin.gif

Anyone have Mervs Tune uploaded online? Would love to hear it smile.gif

I'd be very interested in hearing this song, too, please!
And also this song "parallel limits" or something, I've never had the chance to find it yet.

Thank you very much accadia.
Actually, I don't know how to, but I clearly already knew "Merv's Tune", I remember the whole song listening to the first notes.
First time hearing "Parallel lines" smile.gif Cool, thanks!

Nice concert pictures also, that's a cool site.

"take a photograph of your sister cos she wants to be a man"

or have i got the wrong end of the stick?

"tell all your friends you're an angel"

Here are the tentative lyrics I found ... But I'm sure there's a lot of mistakes...

Take a photograph of his mother
cause she wants to be a man,
believes in evil of love

Wanna stay a man
and she rises like a Venus in my mind
where is the sister gone?
she feels fine, oh
she's fine, she's mine

Take a photograph of your sister
cause she wants to be a man,
believes in evil of love

Here's an angel man
and it rises like a phoenix in my mind
believes in evil of love, away

See
Rose hasn't changed, hasn't changed
She's fine, she's mine
and she seems so fine (and she pleases)
I don't know if you are in love

Listening to it just now and reading your lyrics, it sounds... pretty close. Wow, 'unusual' lyrics really mellow.gif But there's somethinig about the song that's just kinda funky too. I don't know, might be interesting to ask Jas about it at some point in a Q&A if we have another one cool.gif

Hey all, I've been browsing these forums as a guest and I apolagise for not signing up, maybe I will in the future, but I have a couple of questions...

The song Parallel Lines, where is it from? I own both albums and all versions of the singles but this track doesn't appear anywhere.

Does anyone have Cosmic Dancer in mp3 format? It's available to download from a couple of sites as a ram file but I'd prefer to have it in mp3. I can provide my email address if anyone is willing to YSI.

My interpretation (fairly similar:

Take a photograph of his mother
cause she wants to be a man,
believes in the evil of love

Wanna stay a man
and she rises like a Venus in my mind
where did the sister go?
she feels fine, oh
she's fine, she's mine

Take a photograph of your sister
cause she wants to be a man,
believes in evil of love

Here's an angel (could be injured?) man
and it rises like a phoenix in my mind
believes in evil of love, away

See
Rose has changed, has changed
She's fine, she's mine
and she seems so fine

I quite like it. It's rather soothing and ambient, which is another part of BZ I love so much. It's chilling out music when I'm working on the PC. smile.gif
