hey there guys, first post and i'd like to say that bzoo rocks, and i was hooked by 'Spaceman' when i was 6 then lost all trace until i found this site and forum! Since then i got into KKG and TBWTXRE!

To the point, I was watching daytime tv when i was bored and found 'Spaceman' used in this Cbeebies ad. Surely BBC contacted Jas for the permission, and i had been reading about you guys trying to find him. Verry funny kind of character tongue.gif

Yeah we know of this programme but its unlikely they contacted Jas. EMI records, who he was contracted to between 1995-2000 have contacted Chris to try and find him as all his contact details are inaccurate now! Hes probably owed a fortune in royalties over it but doesnt seem to care!

It's possible they can use it but pay the money to PPL who then in turn pay it to someone else (like the individual artist). Somewhat like the same way radio airplay works. Or perhaps if they use less than 30 seconds of the clip, they may not have to pay at all.

That one I'm not entirely sure about, but the end of the original Alien Autopsy trailer had Spaceman, very short clip.
