is it just me or is the version of the boy with the exray eyes used in the video better than the one on the album? i brought the 7"mix as its called on a selection of remixes released and i like it way more, just interested to see waht others think

The 7" mix has the edge because it's faster - the album version was a little slow. But I like the intro on the album a lot.

I greatly prefer the album version. The single version is the missing link between the two albums as it has both album producers on it. I think the single version just tries a bit hard to be the beginning of Spaceman that "was the only bit people liked".
