hi guys.

this is my first post here and i was happy to find such an enthusiastic bz community.
i'm mostly into punk rock, hardcore, goth, metal, jazz, electronic pop, new wave, etc.
and babylon zoo is one of my favorite bands (not only in its genre).

i must confess i'm not an hardcore bz fan but i remember them from the 80's.
now i have the same problem as most of you. i'm obssessed in getting everything from an artist i love. also, i only collect complete albums/eps/7"s/etc., not random tracks.

what i would like to know is:

1. is zoopavaris website the ultimate bz complete collection?
2. love lies bleeding was a web release. what about cosmic dancer and paralell lines? (these are missing in zoopavaris collection)
3. are you guys willing to share some items of your collection? do you only encode in mp3 or do you use other formats like ogg?

Firstly, Babylon Zoo started in the 90s

1. The answer lies in your second question, its not a complete collection

2. Parallel lines was a B side i think, but i'm not sure about Cosmic Dancer. All i know about that is that its the worst cover i've ever heard

3. I have all the album tracks and the spaceman single + B sides. A couple of remixes and Jas's latest stuff (Mariachi Static) and videos. I have msn if you want me to send you anything. However, I think you'll find most of the other BZ members here have a more extensive collection than me

ironically, it happens to me a lot.
tho, i was not aware of the year bz started, unconsciously i talk about the 80's and the 90's as one decade and just call it 80's because that's when i started do develop a huge interest for music.

if you find out the name and release date of the singles which had parallel lines and cosmic dancer, let me know, 'cause i like to tag correctly my encoded music.
and btw, fo you have cosmic dancer in mp3? my digital audio player doesn't read ram format.

i only have the 2 albums plus love lies bleeding and the spaceman single with metal vision and blue nude.

i'll take the videos tho, and the mariachi static stuff if they have more than those 3 songs i downloaded somewhere. do you have sandkings too? is it good? never heard it.

My collection is not the most complete I guess, It's just mine lol
There are some promo LP that I still haven't got.

yeah, there are two versions of Parallel Lines one features on the website mentioned by Loser Kid and the other is on that WEA NME C30 cassette. Before buying a copy of it recently, I thought the version would be the same as the one circulating the internet but there are slight differences. That cassette is the only source for that version. Does anyone know the source of the version on http://www.your-mag.de/bz/ ?

All i have is a peice of paper with a stickman that i labelled jas man!

Then i had him playing in an all star dead band with John Bonham and Jimi Hendrix and John Entwistle and him making and uber instrument as he's cooped up away trying to invent now and outplayes them all and gets loads of cash and prepares to launch a new BZ album! But then he realises that these are dead people hes playing against and realises he's dead and can do nowt.

.....Well lets see you guys think of a better explanation!
