Well, the video I've found on several ocassions, though never in GOOD quality. I think the video you have is the same version as I have, and the quality is decent but not perfect.

It is rather sad that it is so hard to find the videos in good quality! I've got Spaceman, Animal Army, Animal Army [Live at MTV], The Boy With The X-Ray Eyes and All The Money's Gone, but all videos but Spaceman have really lousy quality... =/ ...rather odd, really, that Spaceman and Animal Army videos in good quality are nowhere to be found considering the following facts:

* Spaceman was an enormous hit, and the video was shown so many times I think I've never seen a video being played as much. Also, the song can still be widely heard, at least here in Sweden it is very frequently on the air, not to mention even being used in various TV-programs... last time on TV just a couple of weeks ago in a little montage in Swedish Idol, oh, and later even in Swedish Let's Dance.

* Animal Army was extremely expensive at the time it was produced. I remember MTV News talking really much about the video, on several ocassions, showing snippets of it during the news sessions and praising it... (but I only saw the video in it whole like 2 times... really odd).

Oh, well, someday... maybe... one will be able to see the videos once again, in GOOD quality... =)

I think you'd be suprised, i ripped it straight from a promotional video so the quality is the best available

Heh, I have an mpg of Spaceman and it's more or less DVD quality. I found it in an IRC channel specialising in Music Videos. The file size is about 60mb's

I'll try uploading it somewhere for everyone to download. It'll take a fair while to do though! :-S

Actually, you'd be surprised how little the size of a movie tells about the quality. In the end, what does matter is how it is encoded and what codes are used. Of course a 5mb file can never be as good looking as a 30mb one can, but a 60mb one can be way better looking than a 100mb one, if the encoding is lousy done on the bigger of the two movies... =)

Anyways, nice to see that good looking versions of the video is aviable! It will be nice to finally see it in good quality again! =)

You can always use http://www.yousendit.com/ ...it is a free service, though it has some kind of limit to 2 weeks and a maximum of, I think, 30 downloads?

Oh, and just put in your own e-mail adress when you upload the file, then you will get a link which you can post here. But, I have never used it myself, so I'd recommend you read through the information on the site first so that there is nothing odd about the service...

Yep, now the files are downloaded! The video I have already is almost twice the resulotion although not too good encoded.

I'll stick with my version, though many thanks for your effort! I am sure the download will be much appreciated by those that haven't got the video already!

Concerning the uploads, I can't do that since I don't have the videos here, but at my parents house and I don't really know when I'll go there next time. Though, I am pretty sure that I found the videos online on a Babylon Zoo website... I think the same website held some Sandkings mp3's aswell... but I might be wrong here... can't say for sure.

Yep, that seems to be the same site. So, you are spot on... the quality of the videos were really not good (I have three categories I put my music videos in, high quality, medium quality and low quality, and all videos ended up in the low quality category). The Spaceman video, though, that one I found elsewhere and thus the better quality. Can't remember where I found that one, though... =/

The MP3 was hillarious, by the way... "all their hit, Spaceman" ... *LOL*

Hi andrew. I have an ftp link that I've been using to copy various Babylon Zoo and Sandkings tracks to. I think Chris plans to make these available at some point. I've got the Spaceman video that is 40.9 MB. I'll upload it later today but people won't be able to see it yet.

Yeh, the videos need to be in circulation more, I have another video of it that seems to be better quality aswell, one I downloaded off kazaa the only prob is that it has the mtv logo on it but the better quality makes it ok. Hopefully some more babylon zoo videso and radio files will become more widely known because I find it interesting looking at them
