Ok... the first CD I ever bought is STILL one of my best and is the centre piece of my collection.

Way back in 1993 when I was 12 or so, I saved up 3 weeks advertiser paper round money and splashed out £8.50 on the Tears For Fears 1985 multi-million selling epic 'Songs From The Big Chair' which features classic 80's hits like Shout, Everybody Wants To Rule The World and Head Over Heels.

I got it from a shop called Ians Records which has now been turned into a hair salon.

They were the first group I ever got into. In May 2005 I had the pleasure of seeing them live... it was a childhood dream come true.

I have all 7 of their albums, and they're all quality.... but the first one I bought.... the very, very first has still held the test of time and is sooooooooo special.

If the first album you bought was lame (Right Said Fred is a classic for people in my year).... expect me to laugh at you LOL laugh.gif

The very first CD that i, myself, bought, was the album "Elephant" by The White Stripes

First CD I ever bought...hmm... I think it was R.E.M. - Automatic For The People, I think i'm gonna have to buy a new copy soon though as it has a small crack in it, but it still works fine... A classic album by one of the best bands ever to grace this world. If you don't have a copy... BUY ONE!

My first CD was The Boy With The X-Ray Eyes from my bigbro. I don't buy CD's that much.

I can't remember the first CD I bought. The first album I got was TBWTXRE but that was on casette tape.

there's lots of stuff i used get given (like early 90s dance casettes lol) but i think my first purchase was either a Jimi Hendrix album or the prodigy's fat of the land in 1998 (when i was just a little mini mosher type tongue.gif )
