In the album version of Spaceman it has "babylon zoo...babylon zoo...." in the middle. This doesnt appear on the WEA version, nor the single. Why did they choose to include it in the album version of it? Personally I prefer the Babylon Zoo bit with the extra cool "SPACEMAN" shout right after it.

It's included in the album because it's how the song was meant to be. The original version is nearly six minutes long and back in far flung 1996 singles "weren't supposed to be" longer than 4 minutes, hence why on most you get the Original version and the Radio Edit.

I personally prefer the album version. I'd much rather have Jas fade out the song over "Pinky and Perky"..... *Shudder* dry.gif

Actually the original version of Spaceman contains that "babylon zoo" sung part.

It visits me each night
And won't be satisfied
Won't be denied
An unbearable pain

That leaves the mark of cain
