Was there such a thing as a King Kong Groover tour? Did Babylon Zoo get to tour about promoting this album?

Must admit I'd love to have heard some of the songs off that album being played live. Stereo Superstar being the main one.

Being as it only shifted 10'000 units (of which I must have one of the few remaining mint condition copies lol), I would speculate that EMI did not grant it touring status.

I didn't think album sales had an influence on touring, I think it was never the intention to tour KKG though it would've made sense to do a few shows

Initial album sales have a massive influence over whether a band tours. I remember Roger Waters saying he'd take Radio KAOS on the road if it sold 4 million copies. It only sold 2 million hence no tour.... BOOOOOOOOO!!
